Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America is a national program, with its mission of REMEMBER our fallen United States veterans, HONOR those who serve, and TEACH your children the value of freedom. Peculiar’s two local cemeteries, the Peculiar Cemetery and the Wills Cemetery, are participating this year in the National Wreaths Across America Day, to be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025. As part of this event, each cemetery, along with over 3,300 cemeteries across the United States, will hold a ceremony beginning at 11:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend, and at the conclusion of the ceremonies, volunteers will place the greenery wreaths on the known graves of veterans. Please help each cemetery by sponsoring a wreath or volunteering to participate in the wreath-laying Ceremony.
